The Taste is Incomparable
I really appreciate the bakery’s honest response and proactive approach to changing their packaging. Giving them an extra star for this vulnerable approach. Not many businesses care nor improve, this is very commendable 💕
Really wanted to love it, especially with our local Gail’s being very poor, but unfortunately, there’s a lot of room for improvement.
The prices are lower than Gail’s, but still on the higher end for the size of the pastry. That’s fine. The service was also great and really attentive, without being too overbearing.
The interior is super clean and pleasant too so kudos for that!
Unfortunately, where it lacks is the execution… the almond twist did not taste of almond and had a green, pistachio like sugary filling (that just tasted like sugar) and the pistachio croissant… well… see for yourself – apart from the green drizzle, it did not have any filling inside (apart from the pea sized amount right at the end.
The croissant is also packaged in a massive plastic box which we now feel too guilty to throw out but also wouldn’t want to keep (because why?). It’s very wasteful considering they sell at least 10 of these a day.
Lovely Brazilian cafe in the heart of Kensal Rise. The staff working there were very friendly and helpful when I went. Got an iced oat caramel latte (basic but a good litmus test for coffee shops!) and it was delicious.
I also got the lime cake which was amazing. The sponge was super moist while the icing on top was equal parts sweet & citrusy. Yum! The staff took the time to let me know which cakes contained gelatin which was really appreciated.
The shop is very cosy & chic and very inviting especially when it’s raining out and you need a pick me up – this is the place to go!
I visit D’Broa on Kensal Rise very often because the food is absolutely delicious. But what truly makes this place special is the warm and friendly atmosphere created by the staff. Their genuine hospitality makes you feel welcome and always leaves you wanting to come back.
The service is excellent, and the interior is both cozy and beautifully designed. No matter how often I go, each visit feels just as enjoyable as the first.
I was there on Valentine’s Day, and even though I come here regularly, that evening felt unique. The festive atmosphere, combined with the familiar comfort of this place, made the experience truly special. D’Broa is not just a café—it’s a place where every visit feels like a treat!
I recently visited D’Broa and it was an absolute delight! From the moment I walked in, I was welcomed with warm smiles and the inviting aroma of freshly brewed coffee. The ambiance is cozy and perfect for both working and catching up with friends.
The menu offers an impressive range of coffees and teas, catering to every palate. I enjoyed a perfectly crafted latte, which was both rich and smooth. The barista’s attention to detail in latte art was a pleasant surprise!
Not only was the coffee impeccable, but the pastries were equally amazing — fresh, flavorful, and perfectly paired with my drink. The staff here is knowledgeable, friendly, and always willing to make recommendations.
I highly recommend D’Broa to anyone looking for a great coffee experience. It’s a hidden gem that I’ll be visiting again soon
